    2025 1 Week Enrichment Nomination Form

    The University of Chicago is excited to bring talented and passionate high school students together for 1 Week Enrichment programs on our campus in Summer 2025. These programs provide students the opportunity to explore different areas of study and are intended to welcome students from all walks of life and who desire a firsthand experience at a research institution with a strong liberal arts curriculum. Significant financial aid is available, including funding to cover roundtrip travel expense for students who qualify. 

    High school counselors and teachers are invited to nominate as many eligible students as they'd like. Upon being nominated, students will be contacted to complete the application. The most competitive students will:

    ·     Have strong academic records and be in the top 10% of their class (or equivalent if the school doesn't rank)

    ·     Demonstrate a passion for community engagement and involvement

    ·     Be excited to engage with peers from across the US and around the world.

    Nominations for Enrichment programs are optional. A complete description of each 1 Week Enrichment program is available on our website. A brief overview is provided below for your convenience. Some programs have grade-level restrictions, so please make sure each student you nominate is eligible for the program. Educators should make a separate submission for each student they wish to nominate. If you have any questions, please contact summersession@uchicago.edu.
